Lately, at PHL HQ, everyone has been getting engaged left and right. That means lots of planning for everything from showers and rehearsal dinners to dress shopping and venue tours. One topic that seems to come up a lot is the subject of bachelorette parties. Not just whether or not to have one (because duh have one it’s a good excuse to let loose) but what to do and where to do it. Luckily for you dear readers, we’re passing along our wealth of knowledge on all things one-last-fling-before-the-ring.
- Pink Flamingos – Think everything pink! From pool floaties to pink cocktails, everything should be bright and happy and ready to flamingle!
- Desert Chic – Scottsdale before the veil has a very nice ring to it! Try rent out a chic desert Airbnb with lots of cacti decor and tropical drinks to go around. Bonus points for a taco bar and a margarita mixer.
- 80’s prom – Have all your gals dress up for a night out in the most heinous 80s prom dress they can find! Go all out with big crimped hair, blue shadow, and karaoke to Journey’s greatest hits. Think the last dance scene in Footloose.
- Last Fling Before the Ring – Think all things, flappers. Have your friends dress up in all black and wear brightly colored wigs with bob cuts. Make your way around town sipping fancy cocktails and dancing the night away like a true ’20s gal. Before the party starts, take most wanted pictures of what everyone’s crime for the night will be.
- Glamping -For the true country girl, try glamping. Head to the mountains of Utah or even wine country, rent out an Airstream and live it up. Everyone should bring their boots and get ready for some southern style food, music and maybe some horseback riding.
