Few things are cuter than a Great Dane groomsman, a Maltese of honor and a French bulldog ring bearer! Incorporating your dog into your wedding is such a fun, unique way to include every family member. Whether your fluffy bff is walking down the aisle or your personalized cocktail menu is all about your pups, here are some creative ways to incorporate your dog into your wedding:

1. Pup of Honor
Who doesn’t want their best friend included in the wedding day festivities? Having a designated handler walk your pup down the aisle is the easiest way to ensure viral-worthy wedding photos and entertain your guests — however, it’s very important that you consider whether your dog is up for the job. Here are a few questions you might want to consider:
- Does your dog do well with crowds of people?
- Will you be able to manage their comfort and safety on top of handling (and enjoying) your wedding?
- Are your dogs trained to be acceptable wedding guests? (Will they avoid barking mid-vow, jumping onto guests’ laps for cake, and marking their territory on your custom cathedral-length veil?)
By ensuring your wedding crowd and activities won’t cause your pup any heightened anxiety, you’ll preemptively avoid any major mishaps. It’s important to designate a trustworthy family member or friend (or even a dog-sitting professional) to keep your fluffy family member happy, healthy and on their best behavior!

2. Custom Cake Topper
If your dog prefers a quiet night on the couch, a live walk down the aisle probably isn’t a great option. Instead of wearing a bowtie and posing for photos, consider incorporating them in your wedding decor. One of our favorites is custom cake toppers! Design one to look exactly like your pup!

3. Pawsitively Precious Table Numbers
Use your dog’s photos as table numbers. With this cute idea, each guest will fawn over your fur-baby by using photos of them as table numbers!

4. Guest Book
Use a custom portrait of your family (including your pup of course) as a guest book for your loved ones to sign. After your big day, place it in a sleek frame for an easy but extremely meaningful new piece of home decor.

5. Signature Cocktails
If you’re planning on personalizing your drink menu, why not incorporate your pets? Name your favorite wedding beverages to honor your fur babies. We love the addition of a signature cocktail menu which adds the perfect, creative touch.

6. Pawty Favors
Treat your guests’ pups to a wedding day goodie! Send them home with some yummy treats as a sweet gesture from your furry friend to theirs.
