Inspired by romantic, princess styles, real Stella York bride Louise and her wedding to husband Willie was a fairytale come true! From their proposal to their first look on the romantic wedding day, it’s impossible to keep a dry eye hearing about their love. Congrats to this happy couple!
From the bride: My husband surprised me and proposed to me on my birthday at one of my favorite restaurants, Brio Tuscan Grille. Both of our immediate families were present. “Marry You” by Bruno Mars played over the intercom. We were all teary eyed. I couldn’t believe it, words can’t describe the joy I felt that night. It was such an awesome ordeal to have both families present to witness the proposal. That night I told him we have to set a date, and that’s when he replied, “I already told your mom I want to get married on July 18th because that’s the day we made it official many years ago.” I couldn’t believe he still remembered. It was the best night of my life and the best birthday ever.
I initially didn’t want to have a wedding, I just wanted something small and intimate but my husband and my mom encouraged me. My husband said “we should definitely have a wedding” and my mom agreed. At first I was against it but after speaking with both of them I changed my mind and I’m glad I did. When choosing our colors we couldn’t decide what we wanted. Both of our favorite color is blue, but I always wanted a gold wedding. After long consideration we decided we would go with both colors instead. So we decided we would have our wedding colors as navy blue, gold, and cream colored. We had our wedding planner do all of our wedding décor navy blue & gold, and decided all of our flowers would be white & cream colored. We initially wanted an indoor wedding but after seeing the wedding all of that changed. We had been to two wedding venue’s before we went to the mansion, and had appointments set up to see two other venue’s after seeing the mansion. All of that changed once we saw the beauty of the venue we immediately fell in love with it and cancelled our other appointments. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and a day we will never forget.
There were so many special moment from that day, from seeing all of our family together as one, to sharing every loving moment with my hubby. But the most special memory from our wedding day was me coming down the aisle and seeing my husband’s face. He was crying, and I started crying. It was such a beautiful moment, I won’t ever forget it. He couldn’t stop staring at me and telling me how beautiful I was.
