Kaitlin and Stephen recreated their very first date for an unconventional yet utterly romantic – and unique – wedding day. What made their day special was how it truly reflected them as a couple, and, well, the fact that she was positively stunning in her Stella York soft organza wedding dress!
From the bride: When thinking about different wedding venues, the place that stuck out was Ranger’s Ballpark. Growing up I was always near a ball field, which made it fitting when our first date was at a Ranger’s game. I really wanted the wedding and reception to reflect us as a couple, and I felt that recreating the moment of our first date added so many more amazing memories to our future together.
After planning out the details of the wedding, we decided to do a “first look” moment of holding hands around the door. At the time I just thought it was a good idea. I never knew how special that moment was going to be to me, and Stephen and I had not seen each other in over 36 hours. I was so excited to be with him. Spending that time holding his hand still resonates in my head. It was one of the only moments during the wedding day where it was just us, and it was the most special moment.
Congratulations Kaitlin + Stephen! We loved seeing such a creative venue and a wedding day (and wedding dress!) that truly reflected the bride… and groom!
