A gorgeous July day lent itself to the perfect wedding day for Amanda and Greg. Wearing an all lace Martina Liana gown, this Canadian bride was the picture of bridal bliss. Congrats to the happy couple!
The proposal
My husband took me to Andrew’s Scenic Acres in Milton, ON. There was a field of dahlias and he hired a photographer to capture every moment. I just thought we were going to pick flowers but when I turned, he popped the big question. It was absolutely magical.
The wedding details
Gold and blush tones, and a whole lot of rustic chic. Belcroft has a beautiful tent for the reception and the ceremony was under an arbor with curtain, flowers and crystals dangling down. Our wedding was personal to our love story because we had personal touches everywhere. I made the signs and invitations myself. My husband is a cop so instead of just cake we had a donut wall to poke fun at him. We wrote our own vows and took time away from everyone after the ceremony to just be us and take in the moment.
My first look with my now husband was by far the most magical and memorable moment for me. There is a beautiful laneway of trees that made the perfect backdrop to an emotional moment.
