Elle’s Second Wedding Dress Fitting

Now that Elle’s amazing wedding dress has been revealed, I can’t wait to share with you all the details that went into making it one-of-a-kind and oh-so Elle!

Several months before Elle walked down the aisle and became Mrs. Bellamy, I invited her to my home to do her first gown fitting! This was the first time Elle was able to see her dream dress in person, and there was not a dry eye in the house as she tried it on. She brought along her mom, her Aunt Ginger and her cousin Graci, which made the day that much more special for everyone!

The morning was filled with sweets, treats and happy tears as Elle asked Graci to be her junior bridesmaid. Graci was completely surprised, and it was the perfect way to kick off the day.

Once all her bridesmaid affairs were in order, it was the moment we had all been waiting for — Elle was about to try her gown on for the first time. The look on her face when she saw herself in the gown was absolutely incredible. It’s moments like these that get me every time!

With her family waiting patiently in the living room, it was time for the big reveal. Trying hard not to peek, they sat with their hands over their eyes, waiting for Elle to show off her dream dress. It was such a sweet moment, I couldn’t resist sharing it with you all!

Because Elle’s wedding gown is completely customized, there were still a few details we had to discuss. Which detachable sleeve did she want? Where were all the florals going to be placed? How much beading did she want around the belt?
