As the clock struck midnight, Tracey and Thomas rang in the new year and the start of their journey as husband and wife. What began as a friendship at their local gym led to a timeless romance and breathtaking proposal on the Cornwall coastline. In a magical New Year’s Eve wedding, the couple said “I do” amidst the lush green meadows of Crockwell Farm in Northamptonshire, England.
On the big day, all eyes were on Tracey as she walked down the aisle in an exquisitely crafted Martina Liana bridal gown. Following the ceremony, the couple had a radiant reception complete with sparklers, fireworks and memory boxes adorned with cherished photographs. During the celebration, Tracey even surprised Thomas with a fluffy four-legged addition to their family.

TRACEY, TELL US ABOUT YOUR PARTNER. HOW DID YOU MEET?
Thomas and I met at a CrossFit gym. We were friends first and then our feelings grew! He proposed at Fistral Beach in Cornwall. It was the first holiday we had together with our dog Rosie, and he proposed on New Year’s Eve with Rosie sitting next to him. It was perfect.
DESCRIBE YOUR BRIDAL STYLE. TELL US ABOUT YOUR DRESS SHOPPING EXPERIENCE.
I wanted a dress that was sophisticated, sparkly and romantic. Our wedding got cancelled two times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As you can imagine, wedding planning was so stressful during the pandemic, and the only thing that kept me going was trying on my Martina Liana dress and dreaming of our big day.
IN YOUR OWN WORDS, TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR WEDDING.
Unfortunately, I lost both my parents at a very young age. My beautiful dog Rosie was going to walk me down the aisle, but throughout the postponement of our wedding she became ill. We had the heartbreak of losing her before our wedding day, so I ended up walking down the aisle on my own.
Our wedding was on the first New Year’s Eve without a COVID-19 lockdown, so we wanted it to be super fun with sparklers and fireworks. We made it personal to us with memory boxes with pictures of loved ones and happy memories. Thomas gave the most amazing wedding speech that had everyone in tears and laughing, and I was so proud of him. After the speech, I surprised Thomas with a Sheepadoodle puppy named Freya!
Cheers to Tracey and Thomas!
